Seagram's Farm part of the abandoned village of Imber on the Salisbury Plain. The villagers were told to leave their homes in 1943, with just 47 days notice, to make way for American troops to train for the liberation of Europe during World War II.

That photo was taken during the Christmas opening last year. The MOD have to open the church as part of the original agreement with the villagers. New buildings have been added but the church and school is out of bounds to the soldiers.
