I have logged almost 2 hours flight time on 9 flights. I have enjoyed the new perspectives the drone has presented. The camera on the MP2 is quite good and the features such as hyperlapse and the other intelligent flight modes are so cool. I think you would be happy owning one. --------------- A 3 shot vertical pano with my Canon 24mm TSE. Our Lady of the Lake University Main Building "Our Lady of the Lake University was founded in 1895 by the Sisters of the Congregation of Divine Providence, a religious order begun in 18th century Lorraine, France, by Blessed John Martin Moye. The order continues as the sponsoring organization of the University. Members of the Congregation arrived in Texas in 1866, where they initially established themselves in Austin, and then in Castroville in 1868. I choose the 17mm because I shoot more interior and the agents usually loves to make room look big. I know it's bad but hey they are the ones paying me. and if I need to shoot more tight, i have an 18mp 25.5mm cropped. question: do the camera crop mode don't affect the ability of the tilt shift? also since it's manual focus, can i just buy a cheap damn adaptor? those with no electronics? or use the Sigma MC-11 at least? Thanks Vinz. Yep, I level out the camera on my tripod. Then shift down to start my sequence. Fire off my 3 brackets. Shift up to neutral. Fire off 3 brackets. Shift up to where I clear the top of the building and include some of the sky. Fire off 3 final brackets. I make sure to leave enough overlap and tighten all knobs on my ballhead so everything stays locked in. No problems merging the sequence in Photoshop CC. - Alfredo -

I don't know the answer to your crop mode question. Keep in mind with the 17mm TSE that you'll need to watch out for light hitting the front element at steep angles. I also heard you need to be absolutely level to avoid perspective issues when shifting. When adapting the Canon TSE lenses, the adapter does make a difference in terms of having an adapter that is the right thickness. I think I got lucky with my Metabones IV in that I don't see substantial loss of sharpness when shifting. Yes there is some dropoff if you shift to the extreme but I try to avoid that. One tip if you do is just to refocus. The Sigma MC-11 should work but I have no experience with it. Good luck! Edit: You can get real crazy with panos using TSE lenses. Check out this frame: https://rogeti.com/products/tse-frame Thanks for the info. Rich Baum is using the MC-11. I think it works for him too. Check out this frame: https://rogeti.com/products/tse-frame I don't know if you were planning on taking shifted and stitched interior images, but the clamp that d_AM posted is pretty sweet and it reminded me that you might have parallax issues shooting interiors and shifting the lens (vs shifting the sensor, as with the Rogeti clamp). At longer distances and with a less pronounced difference between foreground and background elements, parallax will be less problematic, but interiors might give you stitching woes. Just something to look out for and keep in mind. Bill is my name - I'm the most wanted man on my island, except I'm not on my island, of course. More's the pity.

No i'm not planning on stitching images on my interior shots. just one frame and just use the shift to see more of the countertops or tables or a swimming pool outside without showing a lot of the ceiling and without so much distortion. | SONY A7SIII(2) | A73 | A6000 | Sony A7IV | Sigma105 | FE1635F4 | Tamron 70-180mm F2.8 | Tamron 17-28 Tamron 28-75 | FE50F1.8 | Sony 16035F4PZ | SEL30mm F3.5 Macro | Canon 24mm TSE | Laowa 15mm Shift
