Thanks Matthew. Today in one thicket I counted 5 male Towhees, more than I’ve ever seen at one time before. They were bashful though and wouldn’t come out for a clear shot. :-)

The females are super-shy, so much so that I don’t think I’ve ever photographed one. On my scavenger list, for sure.
