Pine Warblers are some of the most amicable of the Warbler family. Glad to see that you get to enjoy their company over the winter, Will :) Do y'all (see what I did there?) get other resident Warblers this time of year?

Thank you and yes we get a few others but for most are migrating south. Y'all get any that hang around? ;-)a

Yay, they're not so dark now and I can actually see how good they are! Thanks, pcs.

Thanks, using a non-calibrated laptop can be a problem. Seems it remembers different brightness settings for battery and cord use:oops:.

I'll always upvote Superb Fairy Wren photos :-)

Thanks Matthew
They're unlike other baby birds I've seen. Much more like a miniature of their parents.

Trik wrote in post #18772522 (external link)
So cute! With the down-turned corners to its beak, it looks like it's having a "Don't wanna!" toddler tantrum.

:-)

Thanks for comments, much appreciated.

there are two things i like about the 7D2. the shutter is very quiet and having a joystick is a first for me.

Nicely sharp pair of shots, the junco in particular.

Gorgeous. Looks fluffed up, almost like a winter coat, ready for harsh weather.
Are they always like that.
Very nice.

Thanks Jack. I'm pretty convinced that's what it is. Seems a bit out of its territory.

Lovely shot! A perfect exposure with detail in both the blacks and whites and good colour.

Tough bird to photograph, Graham. You make it look easy. Very nice.
