and just like that...one will be here Thursday...just in time for Christmas...I added a 128GB card...I already have an Anker Battery pack if I need more power...this will do nicely for family stuff...and I want to start doing some on location video too...this will do that as well! It was time to order new portable hard drives for 2019, and a new one for 2018 since the others are full now...

I'm hoping more third parties will come forth with mounts and accessories once it's out everywhere. I did see a video where someone 3D printed a sleeve for the Osmo Pocket that had a GoPro mount on it. That opens is to all the GoPro mounts available.

I'm sure they will, especially with the price of the accessories that DJI charge for them.

with the extension rod...that little thing will be on my list as well...would be fun to have.

Sadly I can't see anything online about when it will be released but I'm hoping it will be released before Feb when I go to Hawaii and San Francisco.

yes I’m probably going to get one. I’m only hesitant as I previously bought a GoPro to capture more family stuff and it didn’t work out. A combination of the wide angle and the non stabilised footage put me off. This seems to address both those points though. My son is 5 and my daughter is 1 now and I’ve got a really low amount of video of them which I regret so want to change that ASAP. Even if I don’t edit it into anything polished as a bare minimum I just want random clips of family life as I know I will enjoy them later

I see you ordered one so congrats! I also have a GoPro and share the sentiments about it. My girlfriend used the GoPro on her family holiday and was all shaky cam haha. I got her to try this Osmo and even she can get smooth video from it. I'm sure you'll love it and finally get to record more moments of your family

I have a couple of those little cards somewhere...I know I put one of them in my phone, and the other, not sure where it is...so I got a new one to make sure I had it...

ordered one there. I can now mix and match between the a7riii the Mavic Pro and the Osmo Pocket. Will be handy for the inevitable time I forget to take a card out with me after downloading images

Well Gene thanks for that, it was enough to tip me over the edge. You should contact DJI and ask for commission. Seriously though you hit home with that and made me realise I should stop pondering and start shooting

I've got so many home video memories that my daughter absolutely loves. She wont even watch baby einstein or Dora. I turn on the TV and "Happy Birthday" is the only thing she's interested in

not necessarily a birthday video, just any home video, and she can watch for hours. Problem is that each clip is mostly 1-5 minutes and I have to be there to DJ the system for her

Yay!!!! Congrats!!!

Most people here know that I'm a river bum. What people might not know is that I did 10 years as a critical care RN before going back and completing my graduate work for Nurse Practitioner. Been in GI/Liver /Pancreatic disease now for going on a decade. Great career path! Congrats to your daughter.....she'll be in the trenches real soon!
