It is actually a hog. The Town of Smithfield is known for "Smithfield Hams." Hogs are popular around here.

Ok, this struck me as so funny! You know, "popular" being relative....
In Smithfield, VA, your pet hog is a secret pet hog!
And stray hogs quickly end up in cans and shipped to Portland, Oregon!!!
