Outstanding, that is an excellent image.

That looks like cloudland canyon.

Thank you Travis.

Just got my new backpack from HEX brands, really like their sling bag, decided on their backpack. Lots of space, very wel though out design, just wish it had a waist belt.

Clamshell design, which I like and it opens from the front. Set it up to open on the left side for camera with lens and the top with two lenses. Lots of small pockets for filters, etc.

Daniel, where do you attach the wrist strap? Can’t work it out. Or is it for the case only? Hopefully not! I’d rather the actual camera was wrist strapped

Rainy, stuck inside, so I thought I'd try out some macro stuff. Used an Oshiro 60mm that Amazon had on sale a couple months ago and an off camera Godox TT685. Still very much new to anything but natural light, so days like this are fun to play around!

Daniel, i had a look at the manual there (bored waiting for the delivery!) and it says in pro mode on the mimo app you can select jpeg+DNG. What is unclear is if it stays in that mode when you disconnect from the app. My guess is it will based on it doing so with the "pro" video settings but I will test later

If I get time before work I'll check it out. The JPEG was still pretty decent but DNG would be preferable! How do you like it so far?

I couldn't see any spot for it either. Even looking in Google I can't see any examples of people using it.

Sorry I forgot you were down under! I’ve confirmed jpeg+raw is available, you just need to select it from mimo first. Stupid about the strap, surely the actual device is what you need it on! I can see myself dropping it at one point

Just got my Sony 55 f/1.8 in the mail today and had to check and make sure its all good!
I just going to roll with the 55, 85, and Tamron 28-75 for now until maybe Tamron comes out with the 70-200. Until then it adapted Canon glass.

haha all good! I find when I'm asleep all you guys are most active then when I'm awake everyone is fast sleep :-P

That's good, I can definitely see myself using the pano mode quite a bit when I travel. I'm worried about that too and I assume the gimbel is real sensitive and wouldn't be able to take the fall. Also for editing, I have no idea how much you can push the files compared to the sensors I'm used to.

Amazing tonality from a 'sports' sensor don't you think!

I did the firmware update today on the a9 (the Riii too). Cake walk.

It's still a Sony sensor with great color and tonal graduations...such good files.

I'm a GA native, but it was actually my first time going. It was stunningly beautiful and a great hike too. I was thinking about checking out Yonah Mountain, Arabia Mountain, and Tallulah Falls the next time it's sunny. I also want to try some Atlanta photography too.

Tallulah gorge is great, good place to explore if you get there early and can get a gorge floor pass.

Rainy, dark, dank day here in the Appalachians.
First SOOC. Second, pulled +2 exposure in ACR.
Experimenting with intentional underexposure and pulling in post.
I think the camera metered ISO 6400 if left to its own devices :)
