A trial run to sort out the procedure. I MQ'd four recent posts.

MedicineMan's photo was the only one that came through. It's on Flickr. The others are hosted at POTN. So don't do it this way if you want to quote uploaded photos. BUT if you just want to see the thumbnails while you're writing, the Preview has links that will open new windows with the full-size posts.

Your "Reply" should be "Quote". Well how I found it.
I tried MQ, MQ Reply but didn't work, MQ, MQ Quote, gave me the response Jack is after.

I'll delete my extraneous posts. Just trying to sort this.

Richard, I probably used POST TO THREAD. It avoids getting an extra copy of the last post quoted.

Just curious. Following that way I got it to work with all images displayed.

Maybe I didn't, not sure I understood what you wrote. Are you saying that using QUOTE on the last post in the quoted series makes your reply show thumbnails of the uploaded photos?

Yes
Sequence is
"MQ, MQ, MQ" (however many chosen) Then when all but finished and ready to post replies instead of MQ or Reply, hit QUOTE.
"Quote" being that belonging to the last one you want to MultiQuote.

That's what I discovered in my experiments.

Yes, tried that. I get all the texts, but only one of the photos; the rest are ignored. If I want all the photos I have to quote each post separately, copy the text before clearing the reply box, quote the next thread and paste my copied post above the newly quoted text and then repeat all this ad nauseam as required. That's far too fiddly for me.

That is what I do.
