photo needed a second light..

i'm no product photographer ..
im ok how this came out considering the above.

but how do I get rid of glares?
is it about playing with light placement?

I thought the golden thing would work out.. but as I look at it more , I think the bottle blends right in lol:oops::lol:
im finding my self more drawn to the blue and white ball:lol:

Do you have a soft box? Turn down the flash power and adjust levels up in post where needed.
Some feathering of the light with black cards might help too.

You are correct that a second light probably would help a lot.

Polariser or angle the light better or reshoot the bottle and composit it. The composition is what draws the eye to the big bright white ball in the middle of the image IMO. Clear glass is really tricky to shoot, getting the texture right and all that.

OR Pay a retoucher to bend the light to your will, and sort out the brand colours. Probably [definitely] could have matched the label better but it late and there was lots of wine and cheese today, you know how that goes...
(Hope you don't mind the edit )

Don’t normally post client work but I really enjoyed the day we took shooting these promo shots for an up and coming DJ. Great colour in that wall.

Thinking about getting into the Godox TTL/HSS capable system. I have the old manual AD360 and the AR400 ring flash which is supposed to be HSS capable.

Has anyone gotten HSS working on the AR400 Ring Flash with a Fuji camera?

I am thinking about starting with an on camera flash (350 or 860) that can also work as a controller. Then adding an AD200 and AD600.

I would appreciate any advice or experience.

C&C always welcomed...
On my images, of course, and on my words as well--as long as it's constructive :).

Can't comment on the AR400 but must admit I haven't been able to get HSS with the AD360 and my Fuji. It works with my Sony A6000 and X1T-S trigger whether the feature is lost with the Xpro-F trigger, the Fuji camera or my lack of understanding the settings I don't know.

I have the 350F, two 860II and two AD200 flashes along with the latest Pro trigger. Excellent system at a reasonable price that works great on the Fuji system including HSS.

It was a great day at Point Reyes. I usually see lots of coyotes and bobcats only rarely, but yesterday I had three different encounters with the kitties. I ended up with several hundred shots across three different cameras to make sure I got some good ones

Weird... I'm having the same problem with my AD600 and AD200's... they are set to HSS on the strobe heads but I cannot shoot above 1/250 without getting partial shutter in the frame. I do not see a HSS setting on the R2PRO nor do I see anything on the camera. I'm stumped.

Have you set the camera's flash menu to FP?
