Forth Belle, taken some time ago in the Firth of Forth, Scotland - in 2007 actually - just posted it to the marine website. I seem to have either missed it or written it off for some reason.

A ferry sinking in Piraeus harbour. I think it was eventually salvaged and towed away for scrap.

A couple of Isle of Wight ferries. An island off the south coast of the UK. The Solent is, allegedly, the most expensive (cost per mile) piece of water to cross in the world!:-)

Southampton - Cowes

Southampton - Cowes? Try crossing to some of the Scottish isles, you don’t get much bang for your buck there, either -?

I think you could well be right... I believe on most of the Scottish ferries you pay for the vehicle and extra for the driver and passengers!

The first one is pushed out by a tractor - the second one is laid up for repairs. Thanks for all the "Likes" from people.

I don't care for this one and the close crop. There is really nothing of interest either composition or tonality wise. If this were not a thread about boats, one might not evern realize it was a picture of a boat. If someone else is seeing something here that I am not, please let me know what I am missing.
