This lens needs some more love; it is a great, light weight, walk-around lens on APS-C. Use it on the 80D as a standard travel kit.

I should probably use mine more on my 80d but I’ve been using my 35mm f2 is. Both are super nice lenses.

I just got back from a vacation in Florida and a cruise in the Caribbean. I took my 24mm and a my 55-250mm zoom for use with my Canon 7D. I used the 24mm almost exclusively as it is so versatile. I will get some pictures posted later.

Howdy and welcome to the forum... The settings are sometimes shown above the picture depending on a number of factors.. It will have camera model, lens model, aperture, shutter speed and ISO. The one thing that it doesn't show is the mode (manual, aperture priority, shutter priority, etc.) If someone has posted their picture from Flickr, and that person shares this information, you can see the same there as well. Many of the pictures have the EXIF data (settings and such) embedded and with browser add-ons or additional applications, you can read it. Windows also shows some of the basic information via right click > properties.... EXIF data has significantly more information than was described above and includes the mode the camera was in. It is, I believe, an open standard by which all manufacturers abide so there is plenty of information regarding it should you wish to dig in...

I hope this was somewhat helpful...

Thanks!

I haven’t used mine in ages. Is a great little lens. I find myself using the 35mm f2is more than anything these days.
