Somewhat recent Infrared shot from my little Canon SL1 with the 24 Pancake. Great little lens. I use it mostly for IR shots, and it performs wonderfully for that. Many lenses can't do IR photography properly and might introduce hot spots in the middle. The 24 is perfect for this purpose. Since I carry that camera along with my 5D3, a small lens like the 24 helps make a perfect small addition for when an IR photo just screams to be taken. I also use a 52mm polarizer on the lens, which darkens the skies and water more in B&W IR shots, and also adds more natural contrast.

This is from the Flagler College area of St. Augustine, Florida in May, 2018.

Just slap some XC tires on them rims and you can roll right over that stuff. Then a little laundry room visit just after.

Oh that’s the best part, I had my ‘cross wheels & tires with me for the weekend, but thought this was going to be a nice smooth road ride. Oops!

I like to carry this lens in my pocket when shooting sports. Works very well for group shots when the telephoto zoom is too long.

So true!

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.
