I have to admit I bought that 45 rpm single. I also enjoyed the 'B' side of Martin playing banjo (external link), which he included in his stand up act.

It's my life and I'll get pissed if I want to.

The Queen is German so she might say, "Ya sehr gut, du bist ein Genie"

Link is from the other thread I think. :)

We just went to see Martin and Martin (external link) . Very entertaining show in the old school Vegas way. But Steve did bring the Steep Canyon Rangers (external link) and play with them. Awesome show if you ever get a chance to see them.

Great song BTW. All about abduction, assault and murder. Leave it to a comedian to come up with such a wholesome song.

It's been three months since I crashed and broke my ribs. I went on a group ride this afternoon with guys from the bike shop. They do an annual Year End Celebratory Ride, no matter what the weather is like. Last year was a full blown snowstorm. Today was -3C and super damp, but not snowing.

Other than work and volleyball, I haven't been doing any kind of exercise in the last three months, and it sure showed today! My heart rate was definitely higher than I had been averaging before. I didn't get any stabbing pain from my ribs, but my chest muscles sure were screaming with the hard breathing. I know I still have healing to do.

We rode the normal route, which includes some sidewalk/paved path. In one section there's a 90 to the left, and right after a 90 to the right. I navigated the left turn fine, but just before the right turn I managed to get my back tire off the edge of the sidewalk and into soft mud. Back tire just slid right out and down I went. Fortunately this time I managed to roll out of the fall. From behind me I heard "that was an awesome tuck and roll!" :) Then came the 'are you ok?' questions. Which I was. Just a couple of bruises. It's always is nice to execute a good tuck and roll.
