Actually, no. They aren't carbon. Those actually are cracks. As Jethr0 said, it happens all the time with those type of brakes. It's not great, but it doesn't make it so bad that they are unusable.

Nope-that's just how the surface of the PCCB carbon ceramics cures. Those are solid brakes.

I stand corrected. As FinalCut747 stated, the ceramic composite rotors do look like that after curing. I was unaware that the color of Porsche calipers goes with the type of rotor option that the car has. So if you see a Porsche with yellow brakes, the rotors are ceramic composite.
