Had to shoot this with no Flash or reflectors. Talk about colorcast problems. Client was still very happy though.

Bracket shots. (not hdr)

These are the first pictures from the Illumina i3 campus today. I was unable to shoot many images since today was more of a "meet and greet so we don't think ur a nutjob" tour. The PR director has asked that I set a schedule and she can accompany me or assign someone while I take more pictures. Trust has to be earned.

I've had images like that in the past and found a quick way to improve them.....

In LR/ACR (or tool of preference with a local adjustment brush) set the flow to 50-70% and the saturation way down and just brush over the white areas that suffer from colour cast.

If you have a white wall with shadow on that has colour cast the above will turn it darker grey so create a second brush with the same settings but tweak the exposure to get the shadow to look right.

It's not perfect but it makes a significant difference very quickly. Took me 5-8 mins to tweak this.

The White Neutralizer in Nik Color Efex is very useful for removing color cast. Another option is to paint over the area with layer blend mode set to color and use a soft brush with 50% opacity.

Your verticals are off in your images and the highlights in the sky are blown out. The compositions are headed in the right direction though. Keep working at it. Learn to work with luminosity masks.

Thank you Dan. Will go back into post and try that.

Sometimes i do a layer adjust mask on the colorcast selection and drop the hue saturation but coud not get the selection correct.

I forgot about the paint brush in lr.

You could take it one step further, see the center seating area how it has a color cast on it?

sample the top color of the center pillow and the bottom, vreate a gradient layer and change the blend mode to color. Layer mask the area you want to change and voila you get rid of that too.

But great example of removing color cast. I use Photoshop and havent tried your method so will try that next time.

The pillars are all a bit off from each other, perhaps due to the use of the 15-30mm lens. The pillar I used for orientation in the back one. What do you suggest I do when there are multiple vertical columns such as these pictures have? Also, are Luminosity masks the same as bracketing?

Vertical is vertical. When I do my RE work I am on a tripod and rely on the electronic level of my 5D4. Anything I “miss’ is fixed in PS, I find a vertical near the center of the frame and rotate it straight then bring the outer verticals in line using the perspective tool in the camera raw filter.

If needed, slight final tweak for verticals near the edge of the frame can be done with the skew/distort tools.

I would recommend getting an external bubble level for your camera or on your tripod. Level everything out. If you are still a bit off, you can correct it in Lightroom or better yet, use DxO Viewpoint 3 which is what I use.

You apply luminosity masks to your bracketed shots to combine the best of each. For example, you can recover blown highlights by generating a luminosity mask based on the brightest pixels and then mask it in to your base exposure. There are many luminosity mask panels available for Photoshop. I would recommend Lumenzia by Greg Benz since it is intuitive to use. Other popular ones are Raya Pro by Jimmy McIntyre and TKActions by Tony Kuyper (recommend Sean Bagshaw instructional videos). Luminosity masks will help open a whole new world to you for blending exposures. Have fun and let me if you have any specific questions. Thomas Briganton on YouTube has some great info on leveraging Lumenzia too so check him out.

here are 2 follow up pics, shots were handheld as this was a walk-around tour so I didn't want to drag the tripod around.
