Been trying to figure out what I wanted to do with this lens, and finally think it's time to let it see a new owner..
This is a fantastic copy of the Canon "Dream Lens", still in original Canon RF mount. It just returned from DAG Camera for a full CLA overhaul and is in amazing condition. Was going to get converted to M-mount, which is about a $300 service from DAG, but thought i'd wait for anyone who might want to get specially converted otherwise and leave as original. Aside from some very small fading specs on parts in the aperture numbers paint and light wear on a spot on the focus ring right about 50ft/20m mark, there are no other cosmetic or mechanical issues. *As noted by DAG as well after overhaul, he says "the focus "feel" is not as good/smooth as I'd like it to be, you never know how the focus feel will turn out." This "feel" from what I can feel is a slight bit more drag when focusing nearer the infinity side than focusing more closely. It is a very light difference, but from adjusting focus a few times you can feel there is a little difference but still is a completely smooth motion either way. Just not 'like new' focusing id say but i'm sure with use will start to be more fluid 100% through out.
But yeah ! It is a very special, niche lens and wanted to see if anyone here might be interested in it. Cheers !
It's hard to sell this lens, but gonna put the tag on it for now at $2000 shipped/insured CONUS OBO.
