Nice one Thayli, what is your software/workflow.
Opps, sorry. Into photoshop, reduced clarity a bit because it seemed a bit too much for me. Took away the wood gouges since I didnt think the bare color underneath matched the treated surface very well, my eyes kept looking at the nail heads during editing so I took them away as well. My aim was going vintage so I also removed the spotlight and the cable running from under the clock as they didnt fit the old-timey idea. At that point I remembered this isnt a portrait and these arent blackheads I'm removing, so I cloned out some of the bigger pieces of dried gum that I couldn't resist and called it a day. There was some curves business going on but I cant remember what I settled on. Threw a Kodachrome filter from Exposure7 over the top to get the vintage film feel, but it was a bit too much so I faded 50% and dropped saturation right down to go for the faded photo look.
I think I did the complete opposite of what would be normal here, and removed lots of details instead of emphasizing them. Learning curve and all that.
