It plays better with the 16-35GM anyway.

Would you elaborate on this Travis? Is the 16-35 GM not as sharp on the a7R III? Not as good AF? Weight balance/ergonomics?

Vinz,
have you ever had any bad experiences with the dry brush? I thought I had read somewhere not to use a dry brush on the Sony sensor.

I have no idea how it does with an A7R3. I had issues with AF acquisition on the A7R2, it would hunt a good bit on fair to lower light levels or scenes with lower contrast in the elements. Which was a surprise to me, since I was so used to the Batis lenses and zero AF issues. But it didn't do that at all on the a9...

I use one of these instead, Brian Smith recommends them...and I like it a lot...the built in lights are super nice to have.

many advises to try a dry method first before going wet. so that's what i do. if it won't work, then i'll do the wet method. make sure you keep the brush clean. and make sure to lock the IBIS before cleaning. in case you don't know... run the auto cleaning. when it's done, do NOT turn off the camera. the IBIS will stay still. only then you start cleaning.

Head is spinning trying to figure out what Disney tickets to buy. Why is this so complicated??!!

And boy are the tickets pricey!

the keeping the brush clean is the nice thing about that battery powered on...when you are done you spin the head and it will shake off any dust you might have picked up!

no kidding...it costs less to go to Hawaii...or the UK...we are going to go back to Orlando maybe this year, but going to do Universal instead for more roller coasters.

Guess I'm still a Canon guy at heart. Trying to downsize so my 35 ZA and FE 50/1.8 are in the marketplace. Looking to keep the A7R3, 24-240 and MC-11 for now. I have a cruise in February that I basically wanted the 24-240 for, so I want to see if I like it. It will cost me close to what I could get for the A7R3 and 24-240 to switch to the Canon 28-300. I'm also looking to get rid of my Arsenal. Looked cool, but seems it will be too cumbersome for my style of shooting.

Speaking of the 24-240, used it to capture my kids at the park, and it's really stellar on the A9.

I've posted the Arsenal YouTube to avoid this product.
It was advertised as compatible with the A7Riii, absolute false advertising, outright lie.
It does work on my a9 but I didn't buy it for the a9.

I played several hours today with a Timelapse+ VIEW. Stellar product! Actually analyses the shot and makes adjustments
for the next shot. Supreme customer service--I needed help in a firmware update.
