I think #1 is a Wolf Spider and #2 is a Crab Spider.

Both taken at the Mt Cootha Botanic Gardens, Brisbane.

Here is the Lady in Red I referred to last year in a post about crab spiders (Misumena vatia), but never posted here (although it did go in the BUGs thread). DUH!

I found her in the hibiscus one night while I was looking for moths. I guess she was too :-)
