Lots of different wing positions to choose from, these were about 1 sec. apart, out of a two second sequence. She was quite distant, about 50% crops.

Excellent BIF shots of the Avocet.

It was very close, hard for me to keep up with the bird's speed, taxing for 6D AF as well. I love 135, it is my favourite one.
