First day out in Ages and down the woods I first saw this little bird hiding in the bracken on the floor, not sure what kind he/she was.

not the best, but I was amazed how this young Wren was out catching its own.
I'd seen Mum and Dad feeding them so assumed (wrongly) they were incapable of catching their own

Richard that's a great one.

On the trip to AZ and NM last month you all know I was hoping for a Harrier.
Of course we expected lots of geese and cranes.
I didn't know AZ has hummers in winter So a bit surprised.

Thanks mate, I could have gotten that shot more in focus, but I had 9 point focus selected and my shutter speed was too low, mind you it was a hard subject to see let alone photograph.
