OK Jeff - Looks like I am going to find it difficult to get the better of you vmad

However; I could exchange a couple of ships (not raced or rallied) for a fox and a couple of red squirrels how about that?:-)

If you wish to transport your large personal menagerie around you might like to convert a car carrier.
I offer RCC Passion. Convertible to 'Noah's Ark' or in your case 'Pondrader's Ark'

Join the human race-?. But pcs, where do you really get your supply of stuffed birds from?
We had a parrot once - it died - so we had it stuffed ........
.....With Polyfilla:-D:-D:-D

Sorry, old joke, I won’t use it again -?

All joking aside, having a garden at the edge of a small city, planting flowers with insects in mind( see my posts in the macro forum:all from my garden), leaving dead plants and leaves where they are until the spring, feeding the birds everyday for the last years(more in cold times) and using a hide and being patiënt all helps. You have to do something to get pictures if you've not get the time to spend all day with a camera or if your forumname is not pondrader :p ).

In reality you are very right when one thinks about it. My house sits on about a 200 x 200 feet clearing with wild bush all around and in some directions km’s, So things just sneak up on you.. for instance I was just outside trying to get a couple snaps of the birds and there just at the edge of the bush is a doe looking at me.. she was very cautious and ready to flee. But worked her way onto the open snow. So I took a snap..

Un cropped .... as it was here this afternoon 100-400LII + 1.4III

Wonderful shot Jeff. A real pleasure to view. Interesting to see what you’re doing with the EOS R.

Red squirrels are less expensive to ship... it's a weight thing, after all.
