Lots of pink. Started in DPP4 set wb to sunny, and picturestyle to faithful saved as tiff. In LR I masked the face and arms and de-saturated, added highlights, colorized. Added a bit of exposure, highlights, contrast and clarity. In paintshop pro I added a pink border to draw pink away from face. Also dodged face in paintshop pro.

Tried layering different color balances for the foreground hand, girl, her hair and background in PS. Also have a layer mask to try to brighten the eyes.

Interesting issue to deal with. Problematic at best!
I actually played with the WB, using different points with manual override adjustments.
Still not happy with the end result, but found the more I played the worse she started to look.
Pretty girl by the way.

Not sure if you would call this "High Key", but its my take so happy to call it "Whatever Key"!

tip: use levels or curves, to reduce the red.

Late to the party as usual. Spent the first ten seconds doing a huge and awful hue correction to the face, and then 40 mins trying to find a way to fix the hair. Since I was lazily working on a single layer by the time I felt I found a way that worked to fix the hair, I was too far along to go back and correct the face, and had put too much time into the hair to start again. Yet another reminder for me to always work in layers, even casually. That I also probably wont heed.
Anyway, one hue correction to the face at start, then another to the whole picture, and then about 40-50 little patch edits in her hair where I nudged the hue about 4pts at a time, (I'm very low-tech in photoshop i'm afraid), and kept overlapping them until they started draining the red out. I'm out of time for now, so there is still plenty red there especially right side (and the horrific face hue edge I did at start), but with a bit of patience and maybe a brush preset thing it might be fixable by that method.

Wow, I am impressed about the results here. 16 great renderings for a difficult picture. Thank you all for providing your vision of this picture. It took me a while to choose a personal favorite and I flipped flopped back and forth between colour and monochrome. In the end I picked:

Unusual crop, strong focus on an interesting part of the picture, supported by a well balanced high key approach. Makes me happy to look at the picture.

Ok, since no one else offered anything up, here is an image from my Colorado trip. I've included 3 exposures in the .7z file but you'll most likely only use 1 or 2 of them.

For reference, that image is taken at about 12,200' elevation.
