I have a full[Ish] 2TB drive for JPEGs and raw files for 2018. Thankful storage is so cheap these days, although I mirror the drives so, like a lot things in work, there is a solid backup. 97786 are only the JPEGs I kept this year, the joys of being a full time photographer

I have shot a fair bit of hi-res images for an interior design company this year, stuff they install in high street stores, hotel and airports. Those files tend to be quite large and the delivered images often push the 4GB TIFF limit each, those plus the associated Photoshop files quickly add up, especially if you do a few revisions on each shoot. Each job folder could be 40GB.
I have a new 16TB raid arriving later this month so that will last a few years I guess before I have to replace it.

What kind of hard drives are you using for 16TB??? What size are the hard drives????? Several years ago I spend a good penny on a 4 Bay 6TB WD red Qnap system. 10TB using Raid 5 is too small.

Thinking of getting another raid system.......

Unexpected visitor in the studio today, my Mum. She needed a passport image and didn't want to use one of those machines... I asked her if she wanted to do a couple of 'proper' shots but as she is only out of heart surgery a month she said next time.

Finally got out with the Laowa 9mm. I think this FL is a bit too wide for me.
