That stick he's on is so cool!

Found roadside in AZ, brought 1700 miles in the camper home. Won't survive
here long, cholla skeleton is designed for the dessert eh, not my cloudland.

Poof wants to know how how how you placed the Sig under the claws ???????????????
We think this is your Hall of Fame signature to date Gene. Serious skill presented.

Thanks Robert and Poof. Please let Poof know that I just make a rough copy of the claws and place that layer above the text layer. Adding the embossed look to the text is supposed to give it the appearance of being carved into the wood below.

I added the 'marching ants' to the selection of the claws I copied so it is a bit more obvious in this example. I've used this method in the past as well.

I'll bite - what's the difference between that one and the regular one? What makes an SD card "tough"?

Durability, dust and waterproof...

From Sony:
TOUGH specification with crush and shock-proof design
Rib-less and switchless design enhances reliability, eliminating risks of breakage
Highest level (IP68) dust and water proofing
The world's fastest write speed at up to 299 MB/s 6 for burst and high-resolution imaging

Thanks to mystik610 showing me what a C stand can hold up to I broke down and finally bought my first two C stands. I'm cheap so I got the $99 special flashpoint C stands. I will say they are much stronger than my aluminum folding stands. Should be fine for a dad that will use them a few times a year. I would hope to get 20+ years of use from them this way

C stands are where its at. Really heavy but less likely to get knocked over and super durable when they do.

I would really love to have a C stand, wish I had the space for storage and general studio space.

They aren't terribly big once you collapse the legs and detatch the pole. I keep mine in the garage...toss it in the back of the SUV whenever I'm heading out to shoot.

Super beefy for sure. I got the 40” seems like it’s much stronger than the boom stand I got by a factor of 10

We had some thick fog this morning so I got up early before work to shoot at the Guadalupe River.

^^^Incredible images everyone. I'm back to the school grind, so I thought I'd post something related. These are extracted teeth in 50/50 water and Listerine. We will be using these in our Endo class to practice root canals this semester! These are mostly snapshots, but I still thought they'd make some cool subjects. Hopefully no one is too grossed out by them ;-)a
