A Nice photo Mike indeed.

A Very very rare bird to see here in the UK. In my 20 + years of bird watching I have only seens one about 300yds away, only got record shots.

A few days ago I went looking for hawfinches at Forest of Dean, none seen but equally pleased to of found many Crossbills. Two large flocks (13 & 25-30) moving through the tree canopy and occasionally coming down to drink from puddles. Beautiful birds with many different colour birds.
