My RX100 (orig version) has sensor dust. vmad First pic below is straight out of the camera except for resizing and exporting as JPG. The second has had contrast and brightness adjusted.

You can open the camera without taking away the front and back covers, the lens with the sensor are floating without being fixed on the camera body, then some air blow...

Thanks. Do you have details? Which screws come out?

There are 10 screws there, they remove the back, as per a video. Link was given in another thread.

I'm so grateful I found this thread. My RX100-2 soldiers on. I have the EVF for it

One of the side doors wont latch. Little voice says get a new RX100. Other little voice says "not made well enough. Costs too much"

Along the way the Sony adapters that came with it, allowing me to use my Domke strap failed.

Using a Peak Design Leash.

My worry has been future spots on the sensor.

Now the RX100-6 is out. Decisions. Decisions.

I picked up an rx100 iv a couple of weeks ago and I love this little camera. I've barely touched my DSLR since the rx100 showed up.

Sony RX 100 VI

I have owned a Sony RX 100 Version 1 for several years and I feel that the quality of the images is really outstanding. The newer version, the RX 100 VI, has a 24–200 Zoom range (vs. 24-70), a viewfinder and several other features that I don’t have on my version 1. I am considering buying the version VI but I’m wondering if the image quality is as excellent as in my original version or whether Sony may have sacrificed some image quality while adding the longer lens and other features. I would appreciate it if someone who has used both of these cameras could let me have their opinion about this.

Nice shot. It has a certain quality that seems to hook you into the image
