Testing my new microscope objective Olympus ULWD Neo Splan 20x0.40 infinity/0 f=180mm , with my Fast Stacker rail and DIY LED light. The Ultra large working distance (ULWD) definitely helps - it's 11mm, which is huge compared to the frame size (1.8x1.2mm on full frame), so frame coverage losses due to the camera movement are minimal. These are stacks 200-300 frames each, using the recommended 2.5um steps. (Using electronic shutter on Canon 6D with Magic Lantern.) This is the first time I am pushing my Fast Stacker to such small steps, and it seems to be performing well.

Thanks! They grow to a maximum body length of about 25mm, but this one was not quite full grown.

Yeah, I have rarely seen them (once only, I think) and the one I saw was a lot smaller than I would have thought.

I am going to try to post the setup I am using, everything is really simple and I think it might help others out there get a bit more creative with simple sets.
