Ok, here's my first attempt at focus stacking. It's 6 photos taken at f/7, ISO 400, 3.2 seconds. I used Zerene's 30-day trial software and their PMax method. I'd love comments and suggestions. My winter project this year is figuring out how to get reliably decent results.

Excellent shots!

I think I am noticing that rows of facets in the eyes have alternating colors. Is there a story behind that?
