Dogs in Natural Light, post yours

The sun set on Phoenix, our 13 year old greyhound, this afternoon. It's been an uphill battle for the last couple of months. As difficult as it was to make the decision, it was time. She thoroughly enjoyed her last hurrah; steak and ice cream for dinner. And breakfast. She managed to empty an entire bag of treats plus half a jar at the vet's office.

Her companion Equinox left us 3 years ago at age 9. The house feels empty without them.

Sitting here going through pictures I can't help but hope the Rainbow Bridge exists. The dogs deserve it for all they've done for us.
