10/10

That's a real beauty. Looking at that makes me wonder why anybody would say they needed anything better or newer than the 7D2.

I will keep my bodies until Canon launches a new model with an 'Add Talent' button. That's the upgrade I need most.

5D3, 7D2, EF 16-35 f/2.8L, EF 24-105 f/4L, EF 70-200 f/2.8L II, EF 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L II, EF 1.4x III, Sigma 150mm macro, Lumix LX100 plus a cupboard full of bags, tripods, flashes & stuff.

I have to agree with you... The 7DII can be an awesome camera.. I have nothing bad to say about the images it has given me..
Thankful to have had one for the last four years.

I just saw a documentary on NatGeo. They said these little fellows lose a lot of heat due to their body shape so they need to hunt much more to maintain their weight and metabolism.

Two from this morning's visit to the Mt Cootha Botanic Gardens in Brisbane.

Despite the numerous, prominent "Do not feed the birds" signs, we saw several folks feeding chunks of white bread to the wildlife.:-(

Cheers

Dennis

Great Blue Heron this morning:

Great shot and composition, but I love your processing on that one, too. Perfect.

Yes true.. They are hunting constantly. They walk around growling at everything and each other.. Standing on their hind legs to see what is in the vicinity... interesting creatures. Most people living here where I live have never seen one alive.. The same goes for the Fisher, of which can be an even more elusive animal.

ISO on this image is ISO8000 not 6400 but there is no iso8000 in the POTN software so it defaulted to 6400..
