Hi Capn Jack - is it possible for you to give the location of your pictures for an unworldly edified person like myself please - one word will do. Nice varied shots Capn.

Happy to do so now, and in the future. My last two posts were in Marseille, France. Thanks for the kind words.

I use the GPS on the 7D2, so the shots are geotagged. Unfortunately, the changes in Flickr mean that I don't import from there as I used to do. Flickr does read the geotag and provide a map.

HMS Westminster in the Inner Sound, Scotland. (This was taken earlier in 2018 when we had extensive wild-fires, the smoke of which you can see in the background.)

Love the impact of this picture, it stands out, colour, contrast, sky etc, for want of a better description by me.
I wouldn’t have liked to have been standing on that when it was in action, or in the observation tower.

The Cunard ship Queen Elizabeth in a Greek Island. Unfortunately I can't remember which one as they all seem to blend into one! Edited to add... I’ve just be reminded that it was Heraklion, Crete! ߘ
