The ONLY suggestion I have is to do the masking on the wall a bit smaller, so the masked player image has the entire masked image on the wall (specifically, the forward foot on the wall above where the bricks and the concrete meet). I think the image would then show the player "on the wall", and not as a layer on a photo. Right now the feet, and the forward foot in particular, makes the layered image look a bit disconnected.

The mask in it's current position gives me an almost 3-D effect...like there's a phantom beside the sitting senior. The poorest of the poor. That being said I initially tried it that way but thought it looks better they way I presented it the pic. I'm always open to CC and due appreciate you explanation. Here are of couple of examples of how I usually present it. Name: Theron

I kinda agree with this, it doesn't work as well for me, it makes it look more superimposed, and less like its a piece of art on the wall...because there is no change in perspective when it hits the flat sidewalk. I think its a great concept for a shot, but feel that having the image cross from the wall to the walk takes a bit away. Website

I personally love your work, and will admit to being inspired to do some of this with a couple of my Seniors over the past couple of years. I honestly stared at this post for several minutes and wondered why you brought the "pitcher" out so far with that leading foot. I think maybe the two-tone bricks on the wall probably factored into why it didn't look as good as some of your others. I like the decision to step outside that box this time. While the "pitcher" is somewhat overpowering the scene, it does work on many levels. If anything, I would maybe try desaturating and turn the opacity down a lil, but that would be "my style". You keep doing you sir!! Great work! Image hosted by forum (957347) © rowdy [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff.
