A small update

I've ordered the SmallRig L bracket and plan to sell my old Manfrotto 055XPROB and 498RC2 ballhead for the Sirui R-2204 and K-20x ball head. The legs are Carbon Fibre and about 1.5kg or more lighter. The head is Arca Swiss compatible too.

My travel tripod which is Sirui could easily handle my 6DII and 16-35mm f/4L for 30 second exposures on a wooden bridge. This one is taller and meant to be even more solid so should be a good upgrade to match the A7III!

Interesting. I was under the impression that if you upload a new image and you already have 1000 images on Flickr, the oldest image would be deleted as a new image was uploaded to replace it, thereby maintaining the 1000 total images.

Looks like that's wrong. Have you tried deleting an image yourself and then uploading a new one?

I had no idea they were so close to you. Here's the original Mast General Store (external link) in Valle Crusis. It looks like it might be an interesting place to photograph.

They have several stores and here's their website.

Beautiful model and portraiture Vinz. Is that the 'affordable' 50mm. I might
add it to the collection for Poof and her (my former) A7Rii. I've got the 55mm so
it's not pressing.

Yep a cap they have instituted post merge with SmugMug.
I pay up for the pro version for a long time. It is my 'safe' repository for pics. I think I have 9000ish there.
Also for a few years I pay up at SmugMug for safe repository, so two places besides my external hard drives.
Now I wonder if I need SmugMug and Flickr.

Speaking of other things here is a different slant on Canyon de Chelly.
As mentioned before, being guided into the canyon via 82 year old Korean War vet
who was born in the canyon and still lives in the canyon was the highlite. He's full
on Navajo and you have to have a guide to get to Antelope House. Here's a spot he took
us while touring inside the canyon (big version at FM). It's a shot that made me glad I
took the 12-24 along.
