It's well deserved praise; you're one of the most consistent bird shooters on POTN :)

This Carolina Wren was almost within arms reach. Super-thin DOF at this range though, even shooting at f/11, but I'm ok with the results. Gotta love the MFD of this lens.

I said, stop the compliments:lol: (although consistently bad is also possible...)

I highly recommend it. I didn’t touch my 5D4 after getting the R, just sold the 5D4 this week before it depreciated any more.

If I needed a new camera I would seriously consider it but I want to use my 5DIV for a few more years, I'm very content with it.

you promised: "NEW YEAR, NO G.A.S" :p

My pledge of No GAS: 27 days since my last actual gear purchase :) Going strong, feeling great!

The caveat is that I haven’t received my 600 III yet, but I placed the preorder for that back in October, so technically that GAS occurrd in 2018. My 5D4: placed For Sale on Dec 31, just before the clock struck midnight on the New Year :D aka, no new sales or purchases so far in the new year!
