That's what I loved about the a9 for non sports. Big blanket of burst shots mean you're bound to get that key reaction. Great for events

yep, I like the feature with the R3, where you can group, rate, and scroll rated items effectively for that type of shooting. I really want those firmware updates on the A9, and super happy it's arriving in march. Hoping the real time AF lives up to the hype or at bare minimum, makes it more efficient to shoot around. I would love to get my AF-ON button back for focus hold.

Another from Bosque.
Bosque is like Bierd Rock in Newfoundland. If you're a bierder put it on the list.

Something not quite right about this one.
Had plenty of light, no clutter in front of the wren,
eye looks ok, but overall the feathers aren't sharp like I'd want.
Thoughts? Diffraction at F10??
I've toned it down, out of camera was seriously bright (not used to
that kind of Sun!).

Hi Robert

Yes that is a trail marker, you see these things on all the major trails here, helpful to stay on trail especially up in the mountains, easy to get lost in some areas.

My 1635GM's arrival today is perfect timing because Sony released a firmware update to it for it's known initialization issue with the A7iii and A7Riii

Some snapshots with the 35 1.4. It has a nice pop to it but 1.4 is def too shallow for these type of shots at this distance. Much prefer more dof on the face.
