A lot of what he says I’d find a bit confusing or perhaps a bit weighted. Probably just me though. No doubt Sony’s eye AF is class leading but papping off in CH mode during a portrait session is mindless. We all know there are different modes with the continuous AF so you can get the camera to do as you need, least with fuji there are. But sure out of the box and in default I guess sony have it working well for their marketing push.

For $900 it appears like a good camera but you can see where they shaved the spec down a few years to keep the cost down, single UHS-1 slot, relatively low res screens, no headphone out, it goes on. Still I’m sure if Sony bring out some lenses for it and people like Fony, sorry, Tony Northrop sell it up enough it will sell. Kind of a dissipontment considering what Sony is capable of.

The a series is marketed towards prosumers... so it will work just for for 90% of the people looking to it as a solution. They are also great backups. I've used my friends a6300 enough to know that the eye AF is a beast compared to my Fuji gear. Everything else about it though leaves me quite cold. My X-Pro2 is a way better rangefinder (for me).

I like my X-Pro so much in fact that I'm thinking that if the X-Pro3 knocks my socks off I might sell my X-t2 and go completely rangefinder.

I owned the a6000 and the a6500..

the 6500 was a very capable camera..

I hated shooting with it..
user experience was horrible.. lack of dials and … soul :-D

yes I said it.. soul.

but the outro to his video was good..

that being said , not getting paid by sony does not mean theres no money involved for him or any you tuber.. so take that for what its worth.

the vloggers camera.. sony's words .. they said they made it for the content creator.. ok , I can see the lack of head phone jack.. are vloggers real checking that?

but the flip up screen that gets blocked by the first accessory that every vlogger gets?

I guess that will be the reason you buy the a6450

i'm not sure what sony/Fuji have against proper flip screens

Haven’t watched but Sony’s tech is great, the shooting experience not so much for me.

Met up with a client this morning for a coffee and a chat about some more shots/video this year. He brought his kid along so I thought I'd better grab one shot.
