Beautiful cat but I'm confused by the EXIF...somehow it doesn't look like it was shot at 50mm f1.4; the specified lens is 35-80 with max aperture at f4...
The DOF doesn't look like f1.4
Did you mean f:4 by any chance

He's using an adapted lens - he indicates a Pentacon electric 135mm f2.8 on Flickr.

A lot of adapters have a dummy chip on them so that AF confirmation will beep when an AF point is in focus. Many of these dummy chips specify a 50 f/1.4 and that's what gets written in to the EXIF. I've had the EXIF trawler here suggest some weird lenses when I've uploaded pics from adapted lenses, too.

Oh, that makes sense; it looks more like a telephoto lens to me. Thanks for the explanation, Bill.
