black and white conversions. the dont look very white, almost like some old agfa paper i printed on nearly 4 decades ago...

Good point, thanks. The same rule goes for residential yards. I should have remembered that.

Here's the full scene of the Cross at Jumonville, which was erected in 1950. I was sad to see that the cross had to be so securely fenced, but I'd expect it was in response to vandalism.
