A VERY rare occurrence, pointed the camera at my wife for a test shot, and she smiled and cooperated! That NEVER happens!

Speedbooster on the Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 (making it an18-50mm f/2)

I really enjoy the booster, it adds a new dimension to the M50.

I wonder if thisVviltrox speedbooter works with the Sigma 24-70 F2.8 EX DG lens? Also can confirm the the m50 mount side is metal instead of plastic.

Thanks.

Metal mount both sides, metal tube I believe. Works with my Tamron 24-70mm 2.8, camera reports f/2.0

Nice to see this thread with some action! Looking good everyone!

I'm about to go to Yosemite and will be taking the M50 for video and my mkiv for pics. Can't wait.

Anyone use L-series glass on their M50 with the adapter?

I've been looking at some Rokinon lenses, specifically the mirrorless range because of the aperture. Elsewhere I've seen that exposure preview works fine in video mode (where I'd probably be using it most), but not so well in photo mode. Is that still the case since that was in relation to older M series cameras, or does the "set aperture on a normal lens then switch" method still apply for photos?

Nice shot! The sculpture looks very appealing! Was this handheld or tripod?

Handheld at night. The decoration is lit from within like a garden light.

As for the Rokinon et all lenses, exposure preview is fine for photos. You set the aperture on the ring on the lens. It doesn’t report aperture to the camera so camera takes the light coming in and adjusts for EVF or screen preview.

Yes, my 300 f/4, with the Canon adapter, and sometimes the 1.4 III ext.
Results a page or two back.
