The basketball pictures the "pro" did this year for the teams were
cringe worthy...white balance was miles off, and the individual of my daughter, her face was OOF...like a lot...so we sent them back and got our money back and last night I did our own. It was my first time trying to shoot in a dark gym. Does the modeling light on the AD200 not work if you are using the bare bulb? Despite it being pretty dark, the a9 "point & shoot" still managed to obtain focus in what had to be the darkest setting I have ever tried to use AF in...The Game Face...

She has become a force to be reckoned with on the court this year, the tallest of all the girls on the three teams...and has scored a ton of points...the last game the other team double teamed her to keep her from scoring...it worked...but she learned from it.
Nice work man. Yes a lot of these kid sports photographers are terrible....and they charge stupid prices because they have an exclusive deal and most parents dont know any better.
As expensive as this hobby can be, when you think of the value you provide for your family being able to provide pro caliber photos anytime you want and for any occasion, it's actually a pretty nice deal.
