The first image is along the St. Clair River in Southwestern Ontario between Sarnia and Sombra. It was during a very cold spell and I found the frosty mist coming off the water added a cool beauty to the scene.

I can fully appreciate the beauty when viewed on site.

Love the sky and the light across the water in the second.

I fed all the local mosquitoes during the taking of this shot. Just the type of guy i am. It's a 3 shot Panorama.

I had similar on the Murray eons ago.
Wife still shudders.
Well know the experience.
We were tenting on the banks and you could see the blighters dancing around in the glow from inside the tent.
