That's great! "Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.

But because of its age just bought a 6 D Mark II that I will get from Santa. I was going to sell it, but after reading some threads and seeing market price for what they seem to be getting, I will be keeping mine. If you know how to work with your 6 D and I do, the complaints I read are amusing. Will I be happier with the 6 D Mark II? Will not know for awhile, but I do know my only complaint was not having a articulating screen like my 60D. Canon 1Dmark3, 6D, 17/40L, 24/70 L, 70/200 is f4, sigma 50 1.4

Yeah, I miss the Articulating Screen too from my 60D, but I can live with it, should have been on the 6D to begin with............... ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

The only thing you need to consider carefully are your lenses. EF-S lenses won't work anymore and might need replacement. Everything else will be 'smaller' - e.g. your 50 mm lens on the 60D frames like a 80 mm lens. On the 6D it now frames like a 50 mm. (Yes I know, a 50 is a 50 and behaves like a 50 independent of sensor size - but what you get on your picture for the same distance is still different). This might not suit your habits and puts pressure on buying different glass (e.g. get a 85 mm to achieve the same you did with the 50 mm on the 60D).

Still arguably a very relevant camera today of your priorities are portrait and landscapes and not video. I think it goes without saying that the priorities of anyone buying the 6D are going to be shooting still images and not video. I bought mine new many years ago and still love it. It's high-ISO/low-light capabilities are very good...some of the best. If your priorities are for video then one of the newer video recorders might serve you. The poorest of the poor. +1 on the 6D. I've had mine for more than 6 years now and don't think i'll be letting go of it anytime soon. ***********
