B1 No. 61306 "Mayflower" and Merchant Navy No. 35018 "British India Line" double heading for this weekends "Cumbrian Mountain Express", unfortunately I got screwed by the wind blown exhaust on the first one.

Just read about that railway. Wow. What a stunning location, rolling stock, bridges, engineering feat.

Richard,

During the summer they run all the way to Silverton, CO. Early February they also have a Photographers train where they left you off at different locations. Haven't done either of these yet, hope to do them fairly soon. I was also around the Cumbres and Toltec which was originally connected between Durango and Antonio. They do not run during the winter so everything was starting to get covered with snow. More photos from the trip are at BJL0825.myportfolio.co​m.
