don't let his gentle look fool you . He is a sex driven dominant male and shows his true side when other baboons, especially females are present.

I love the head on look on the male lion's face, especially when you think he's looking at you, somehow I always feel he is looking through me and past me. What do you think?

Beautifully photographed. Magnificent lion.
Glad we don't have them in the wild here.

As for his stare, looks more like he's summing up whether food is prevalent. :-(
