My goodness, this is worse than the wild, wild west. The thieves run rampant, but the photography is outstanding.

Thank you very much, Mike!

Can the thief get the job done?

I can see the fish is flopping as hard as it can to escape, but the jaws of the mighty cormorant have a vice-like grip on the unfortunate captive. I suspect another bandit will soon enter the may-lay, and this wild west fracas could go on for many more episodes. Once again, the photography is supreme.

My first and only RR

Really nice. Lovely bird.
I only knew these through comic strips.
Glad to see it shown in the true light it deserves.

These are really nicely presented again.
Loving the action and the photography.

You keep company with some pretty villainous creatures :p

Great Thrush (Turdus fuscater). Uncomplimentary genus name, but a pretty bird.

Spent a few hours at one of my local National Trust places, Charlecote Park. Wasn't expecting the Great Tits to be nesting yet - must get the bird box out of the shed and set up. Saw a nuthatch as well.

First one's a Blue Tit, they're in and out of my box too, think they're just sizing it up.
