Paul, both are fantastic. The first one has an eerie feeling to it, the second one's grungy look may chez the scene very well!

Thanks Renata! That means a lot coming from a real artist! The first is a a few of the old forgotten structures I've photographed at different times and places along with the old forgotten Packard.
The second is the car getting ready to do what it was doing in its hey day...RACE!!!

I have so many shots but hardly ever have the time to do art in PS. I just grab a real brush or pencil
I have to tell you that I see a lot of digital art everywhere but not every digital artist knows how to handle lights, shadows and perspective of the objects that they place on top of another image. You have obviously mastered them all and also other aspects such as composition etc.

I'm touched and honored by your kind words.

When I was young, I had strong aptitude in art but never developed my skill in the visual arts. I went into music but I had, as they say, "an eye" for visual arts. When I discovered photography it brought me back to visual arts, and as one thing leads to the next, creating photoart through Photoshop. This is a new and fun experience for me. I spend a lot of time collecting photos of "stuff" so I can use them in my renderings. I won't use downloadable stock images off the internet in my imagery. Just a thing with me.

I guess I've rambled. Lolol. Thank you again Renata!

On the left:
USS Charles F Adams DDG-2, Lead ship of her class of guided-missile destroyers.
In the center and right, are two Ticonderoga class, guided-missile cruisers. One of which is the lead ship USS Ticonderoga CG-47, the other is the USS Yorktown CG-48

Lol... those three ships are moored the way you see them, at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia. All are awaiting their final fate.

It's interesting to see the Tico waiting in the boneyard like that. That class of ship was supposed to have a 35 year service life, but the early Aegis cruisers in that class were retired early because it wasn't cost effective to upgrade the outdated technical standards. At a Billion dollars each, those early Tico class ships were an expensive learning curve for the Navy.
