Paul...these two shots are simply remarkable. I'm amazed at the sharpness and detail you got, plus this bird looks so alive right here in front of me, as does the catfish. Congratulations on these two captures.

The Egret beat that Catfish against the ground for 30 minutes.
I think it was trying to remove the sharp bits before ingesting.

Hard to believe that this Dipper is in a park (Eastville) in the centre of Bristol City. It seems undisturbed by the many dogs that are in and out of the river.
