my first long eared owl...i had seen it hunting friday night...i went out this morning, and discovered it hanging out close to the trail, and out in the open surprisingly

Beautiful captures, Dre. The bird is in a relaxed posture which probably indicates that you kept a respectable distance. Don't see them out in the open like that much in my neck of the woods. Very nicely done.
