A great start for the year. I enjoyed looking at everyone's photos. Nicely done everyone.

If you have photos still to post it is never to late to add them to the thread.

As a reminder, our topics for Feb are: Blue. Cold. Funny. Wood, and Old submitted by Eidelweiss.

You can always find the topics for the month in the first post of this thread.

Except for a couple of New Year's day photos, I didn't even use a camera in January. I'll try to do better...

Think I can sneak this one in as showing some green in the winter desert (and maybe soft focus ? and some of those short saguaros might be around 50 years old ? LOL ) Yes, that is snow on some of those cacti and branches.

My Metadata lists a 3500, because the site's gear list doesn't list my Nikon D 3400
the picture is gone by the time my camera comes out of the bag...

Like that old hand tool Stina.

Good finish Debbie. The green really stands out against the snow.

Eidelweiss, your dog is really patient. Then again, Labs usually are.

Great start Renata. Nice photos.

I'm glad you were able to find one for January. I love the contrast between the foreground and the background.

Fortunately, I am surrounded by these wonders of engineering.
Come spring,[or thaw, what ever comes first] I'll start a thread about them.
